THE GRANITE STATE DESTROYER Here's a bike we did up for
one of our Limey Bastard brotheren, Jay Sizza. It started out as an ultra
70's abortion bike that we scored for short
ends (photos of the original coming soon) - we stripped down and rebuilt
it into the no-nonsense, straight-evil, savage, head- bashing machine
in the photo's above.
When we got it, it had a sprung Amen rear on it
- we hacked that off and replaced it with a 6" over hardtail,
swapped the low pullbacks for drag bars on 8" risers, fabbed a
jockeyshift using an old Hurst lever and handle, fabbed a side mount
license plate bracket out of diamond
plate steel - complete with a blue-dotted lense Model A Ford taillight,
welded in a Choppahead battery/boyer box, put on a sporty tank that Jay
wanted, tossed the british coils and mounted in a harley coil, radiused
and point-cut a trailer fender, added our forward bar/pegs, and swapped
the king/queen seat for a solo seat. We re-wired from scratch. The frame
and tins was sprayed with some John Deere Blitz Black. Basically, all
we reused was the engine, front frame section, wheels and oil tank.
For
those of you that don't know, Jay Sizza is our seat guy (Truckalope
Leather) - and once again he's shown & proved with the badass seat
he did for his bike. Jay also plays guitar in the mighty Scissorfight
(check out www.scissorfight.com or www.tortugarecordings.com) as well
as desipicable Savage Chopper Gang (coming soon).
